Out of Character

  • You can ask questions. The only stupid question is one not asked so don't be afraid to go to someone when you're confused or need help. That's what staff are for.
  • You can also disagree with and even voice your opinion toward staff members. You are not to fight with them, of course, but feel free to discuss anything and everything with them. They are just as much your friends as anyone else on this site.
  • You can play with your potty mouth. We ask that you keep cussing to a minimum out of character but you can still do it, especially in the rant and angst boards since that's what they are there for.
  • You can also talk about sex and stuff OOC if you want, we just expect the detail and such to be kept to a minimum since this is not a sex board. You can mention it, chat friendly about it but nothing else. This also does not apply to sexual imagery (which is not allowed at all).

In Character

  • You can have as many characters as you want on as many different accounts as you want. One, two, five, eighteen, however many. For the sake of organization, we'd prefer it if you could, somehow, group characters an accounts. Like, maybe have an account for all of your characters involved in a particular plot or something, but whatever works for you will work for us.
  • You can create whatever kinds characters you want as well. They can be gay, drug abusers, from Erebus or Iairos. It doesn't matter where they come from or even what species they are. You can be as creative as you wish here.
  • You can also create and play any of your character's opposites. They don't have to be played by separate people. The same applies to children and offspring but not mates (unless granted permission by a staff members or as part of a plot).
  • You can create animal or humanoid characters. Though many can't, most animals can talk to humanoids and vice versa so you don't have to worry about communication issues either.
  • You can use names that have already been taken but only if the name is a common one (like Bill or William and not something outlandish, like Apollo) and only if the person already using that name has no problem with it.
  • You can have your characters mate and have sex and other mature things, but you must always put a warning about it either at the beginning of the post in which it starts or in the thread title in the form of an 'M' or 'A' in parenthesis. Ie- (M)*insert thread title here*. The use of both is preferred.
  • You can start rping only after your profile has been checked and approved by a staff member, which will not happen until said profile is completed.
  • You can make your bios as long or as short as you want them to be, though be aware that it should still give us, the staff, a good idea what your character is like, otherwise we'll ask you to add more.
  • You can also make your rp posts as long as you'd like, but the minimum length is one paragraph (4 to 6 sentences). One or two sentences is alright in some cases, like when your muse is malfunctioning or when you simply don't know what to say, but this shouldn't happen more than once or twice a week. Otherwise, we'll get suspicious.
  • You can rp one character in multiple threads at a time, just be aware that the individual threads are each separate moments in time. So, though you may be posting all at one time, your character is not literally inhabiting multiple places. Each one is a separate event.
